Chalk Paint™ 101 - Basic
Join us at our loft studio and learn how easy it is to work with Chalk Paint™ by Annie Sloan. We will show you how it can be used in a number of different ways to transform tired or dated furniture into fresh, beautiful pieces. This workshop will give you the experience and confidence to complete your own Chalk Paint projects. We cover several application techniques and you will create sample boards of each one to take home, along with an Annie Sloan paint colour chart, to help plan your future projects. You will also learn the proper technique of applying both clear & dark Soft Wax to create a beautiful old world, protective finish.

B.Y.O.P. - Furniture Transformation with Chalk Paint™
Do you love the look of painted furniture, but aren’t sure where to begin? There’s nothing like practicing on an actual piece of furniture! Join us for a 3-4 hour class on how to use world-renowned Annie Sloan Chalk Paint™ to transform your drab piece of furniture into a fabulous new find. Let us help you reimagine, refresh, and restyle your space. Bring in your own small piece of furniture (or a cabinet door!) to paint in class and use all of our materials, supplies, and expertise as we guide you through the process.
In this class you will learn how to properly prepare our piece for painting, select colour combinations for your piece, a classic vintage look or a smooth modern finish and how to finish your piece with either Annie Sloan Soft Wax or General Finishes Topcoats.
Guidelines:
Furniture size cannot exceed 24"L x 24"H and wood is the preferrable material. Small wooden chairs and end tables are perfect! If you do not have an appropriate piece of furniture, we may have one in stock you can purchase for a reasonable price.

DIY Rustic Signs
Need a unique way to tell someone you love them, a beautiful gift or just something to fill that empty wall in your room? Join us for our 'What's Your Sign? DIY Rustic Sign Workshop' to create a unique custom-made wood sign using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint™ and Annie Sloan Soft Wax.
Your wood sign painting workshop includes:

It's About Time - DIY Clock Workshop
Have you been looking for the perfect clock to fit your space? Tired of searching through the boring, look-all-the-same-clocks you find at your favourite home decor store? Ain't nobody got TIME for that! We've created some unique designs that you won't find in any store, that you can custom design in your own creative way! Choose from French-style, over-sized roman numerals or even vintage typography - and take the TIME to make the perfect clock for your decor!
Clocks are round, made from solid, premium pine and 24" diameter (quite large). Clock mechanisms are high-quality and high-torque, hands are 10" long and made from metal. Several designs will be available, with a selection of numbers and fonts. Clocks will be painted in your choice of colours from the Annie Sloan Chalk Paint pallet and Dark, Black, White and Clear Waxes are available for designing a unique finish.
All supplies provided. Snacks & refreshments will also be available.

String Art Workshop
reFIND's String Art workshop provides a stylish new take on an art form that peaked in the 1970's but is suddenly retro and cool again. Unique patterns and design templates will appeal to your inner artist, whether you're a first timer or an aficionado from years gone by. Create beautiful gifts that come from the heart or something to add a dash or homemade flair to your home. A great way to meet people in a relaxed and friendly environment or grab some friends and make an evening of it. Participants are provided with 7-10 simple designs to choose from. Finished creations are approximately 10" x 15", painted with Chalk Paint™ and sealed with Soft Wax.

Hoop Art 101 - Basic Embroidery
Embroidery – it’s the traditional great aunt of the crafts, right? Wrong! Modern embroidery hoop art is creative, cheeky (sometimes even offensive!) and sweet and will change the way you see traditional embroidery.
Kate Shaver, talented hoop art designer and owner of Fergus' 'Handmade by Kate.' will teach the basics of hand embroidery - transferring an image to fabric, stretching the fabric in the hoop and 4 simple stitches that can be used to embellish your image or create a simple piece of embroidered art. The 3 hour workshop will give you the confidence to try your own designs and you'll go home with a small handmade hoop of your very own!
