What kind of vendors are we looking for?
It’s a good thing and a bad thing, but the fact is that we get way more applications than we have room for. It’s competitive to get in but definitely not impossible. EHM is a curated market with an eye towards the unique. Vendors are selected by a small group of fellow makers, and we always have room for new people and new ideas. Read on and find out what we're looking for:
Local Vs. Out of Town
Much of our table space is dedicated to local vendors but out of town applications are welcome (but must stand-out).

Something New
While we have a number of return vendors at every market, we also have a whole whack of new folks. However, previous attendance at EHM is no guarantee of repeat attendance. If you’ve vended before, we expect to see new and fresh items and obvious progression of work in your application.

The Genuinely Weird
Anybody who has been to EHM knows we’re not your typical craft fair, and we’d like to keep it that way. If you’ve been to the EHM before, you know what we’re talking about. Curse words and offenses are gladly welcomed! If not, we invite you to have a peek at our Facebook and Instagram feed, which feature work of vendors from past markets.
Regarding Jewelry
By far the most competitive category. You definitely need to stand out in this category - if jewelry making is your hobby (and not your job) - you need not apply.

Get Social!
Get with the times! Yes, in this day and age we need social media to help us with our marketing. If you do not have Facebook or Instagram, you may want to setup an account and start posting to be considered for this event.

***new for 2018-2019***
EHM was developed with a specific idea in mind: markets need to be a unique shopping experience, with an inspiring vibe that invites customers to flow into the world of makers. So this year, we are changing it up a bit. The maker world is growing, as is our list of cool and unique vendor contacts. So this year, to make this a truly 'curated' event - we are searching for YOU. The one-of-a-kind, haven't-seen-that-before, stand-out-from-the-crowd maker. That's right, we've been scoping out potential vendors for months, scrolling through your social media pages and skillfully weeding out the best of the best. So instead of a typical application process - we are 'cold-calling' potential vendors one by one.
There unfortunately will not be a vendor call for our Fall 2019 market.
We'll change it up again in 2020, we promise!
